Visas
Depending on where you’re from and where you’re travelling to you may need visas to enter certain countries included in your New Zealand tour. You are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas requirements prior to departure as failure to obtain any visas or travel documentation could result in entry denial and cause you to miss part or all of your trip.
Note that visas may take 6-8 weeks to obtain and passport even longer and may also incur additional fees which we do not cover. We advise that you allow a sufficient amount of time to acquire these before departure.
Due to individual government regulations that are subject to change, please be aware that we are unable to advise on the need to obtain visa information. However, note that the information we have provided below is only to be used as a guide and that you should contact the local embassy for the country you’re travelling to for up to date information.
Passports
If you’re not a national citizen of the country you’re wishing to tour, passengers will require a passport to travel abroad. To obtain a passport, apply for one with your local government, or enquire with at a government office.
Bringing food into New Zealand is subject to strict regulations to protect the country's unique biodiversity and agriculture. In general, you are required to declare all food items you bring with you when entering New Zealand. Some items may be allowed, while others may be prohibited due to potential biosecurity risks.

Travelers and airline or cruise personnel are not obligated to undergo pre-departure testing or provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination in order to gain entry into New Zealand. It is advisable to consult your chosen airline or cruise operator, as they might still demand proof of vaccination.
In the event that you exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 upon your arrival in New Zealand via air travel, we strongly recommend that you undergo a rapid antigen test (RAT).
